🌸 Hi, I'm Julie! 🌸 Proud mom of two wonderful kids, grandma to an adorable grandson, Christian, Midwest girl, and happily married to my amazing husband for 33 years. My favorite pastime is boating while spending time with the family. Love soaking up the Vitamin D and the sun! 💖👨‍👩‍👧‍👦☀️🚤

I needed a change of attitude and mindset.  After struggling with chronic fatigue and pain from an auto-immune disease for several year   I found myself feeling overwhelmed by the chaos at home. I used to just tackle things as they came, but as my health changed, the clutter piled up, and anxiety followed. It was a challenge I never expected—feeling paralyzed by the clutter I once managed effortlessly.

It took me a long time to understand what was happening. As I started feeling better, I realized that I would sit in one spot at the top of my bed, doing work there despite having a perfectly good office. I later discovered that this was a response to being mentally overwhelmed—a state I call "almost catatonic." I had a hard time moving through the mess, even though I knew decluttering was the solution. And yes, like many, I occasionally indulged in shopping when I could, which only added to the piles.

Through trial and error, I learned how to approach decluttering in my own way. Some methods worked better with pen and paper; others I found more effective electronically. But the real challenge came from having two different spaces—one physical, and one digital—both full of work and clutter! Add three dogs (yes, three, including a husky) into the mix, and keeping things neat felt nearly impossible.

At first, I made the mistake of putting everything into one room, only keeping out what was necessary for the year. The result? A room filled with twenty storage tubs, and me occasionally stumbling upon hidden treasures—like shopping bags full of items from places I rarely visited.

But over the last year and a half, I’ve developed my own system. And the relief I’ve found by decluttering is truly life-changing. Once the clutter was gone, the weight on my mind lightened, and the anxiety slowly subsided.

My hope for this page is to offer support and guidance for anyone dealing with chronic illness—whether physical, mental, or both. Here, I’ll share the tips, tricks, and methods that have worked for me, and I invite you to join the conversation. Please like, comment, post, or share—any helpful tips or questions are always welcome. Together, we can find peace in the midst of the clutter.

Thank you for being here! ~Juls~
